  • Provide expense tracking and balance calculation services
  • Send notifications about group activity and settlements
  • Improve app performance and fix issues
  • Respond to your support requests

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Within Groups: Expense details are visible to members of your groups
  • Service Providers: Supabase (data storage), analytics providers
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our legal rights

  • Data is stored on secure cloud servers (Supabase infrastructure)
  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
  • We implement access controls and security best practices
  • Regular security audits and monitoring

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct your information
  • Deletion: Delete your account and associated data
  • Data Portability: Export your expense data (CSV format)
  • Withdraw Consent: Opt out of optional data collection

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized expense records may be retained for group members' reference. Transaction records may be retained as required for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
